This artwork features people walking on a crossroad ignoring a huge baby-like figure covered in graffiti, which depicts Donald Trump. This artwork symbolized the outcome of the presidential election of 2020. 

Crossroads was sold via Nifty Gateway at $6.6 Million.

Dylan Field, CEO of design software company Figma is behind the sale of one of the biggest NFTs in history. In March 2021, the NFT sold for 4,200 ETH and was worth just over $7.5 million at the time.

CryptoPunk 7804 is very rare because it was one of only 9 of its kind produced by Larva Labs. They also have rare Apes and Zombies under their umbrella. This alien features a sky-blue skin tone with a front-facing cap, small shades, and a smoking pipe.

Cryptopunks are a craze among NFT enthusiasts. This is another work by Larva Labs that brought in a revenue of $7.67 Million via 4,200 ETH. Isn’t that jaw-dropping!

This alien sports a blue and white headband and the skin color is of sky-blue color. This cryptopunk initiated its bidding journey at $76 in the year 2017 which came up to $2 Million the following years and lastly rose to $7.67 Million and was sold in the year 2021.

This is also one of the most expensive NFTs. The digital avatar by Larva Labs sold for over $7 Million which is very impressive. Cryptopunk #7523 features a few accessories on the alien-like a gold earring, red beanie, and a facemask.

3. Human One - Sold at $28.9 Million

This artwork is also one of Beeple’s creations. Even though this is not one of his most expensive works, it's a very unique creation. It displays an astronaut traveling through changing external environments.

What sets this design apart from the rest of NFTs is that it’s a hybrid design that features physical elements as well. It's a human-sized sculpture made out of solid aluminum, mahogany wood, and four video screens with extremely high resolution.

Those screens display a virtual avatar that will change over time. Beeple mentioned that he will keep on updating the avatar as long as he’s alive and make changes if required.

Art auction house Christie's sold this compilation of digital art “Everydays” by Beeple for an insane amount of $69.3 million.

Finally, we come to the most expensive NFT digital artwork ever sold, “The Merge” created by Pak. There has always been a continuous debate whether it’s a single piece of artwork or a combination of 29000 unique art pieces. 

Interesting thing is that it started off with about 300,000 pieces of "mass" distributed globally to buyers. It is a collection of “masses” that people were able to purchase.

The more people spent, the bigger their mass grew. Each one of these masses came under the same creation and the total sales resulted in $91.8 million, making “The Merge” the most expensive NFT ever sold.
